La Casa Hispanica is located in Class of 1925 (Gregory College House) - 3941 Irving Street, across from Saint Mary's Church. We are a group of students interested in the Spanish language and Spanish and Latin-American cultures. Here you can practice and improve your Spanish in an informal environment, and at the same time make lots of friends. We meet for dinner to dine communally and chat in Spanish about anything. We also have various activities such as movie series, lectures, and trips, and our coffee hours in Gregory twice a week. Dedicated residents can choose to enroll for credit (Spanish 180); note that credit enrollment is available for Gregory residents only. See syllabus below.
TIME & PLACE:
La Casa Hispanica will meet throughout the semester Mondays and Wednesdays at Gregory College House (Class of 1925 building) from 7-8pm.
