I LOVE TV: The Oscars!

What:

Join your Film Culture Program staff as we host Gregory’s annual Oscar's viewing party!  Hope you all had a joyful and restful Spring Break.

 

There will be pizza, drinks, and snacks on offer during the Academy Awards as we screen in the VP Film Lounge tonight.  And, of course, we'll be having our annual Oscar predictions competition.  Those who guess the most correct winners will collect Amazon gift card prizes!

 

Be sure to come before 8:15pm and fill out a ballot if you wanna compete in the Oscars prediction contest.  All Gregorians are welcome!  This is a viewing party… so feel free to bring your laptops and homework.  Make-an-evening-of-it in the VP Film Lounge tonight and stay for the duration with your fellow Gregory people to watch it all on the big screen.

 

Agenda:
- 7:30 PM: Pizza and drinks for the Red Carpet before the Oscars

- 8:00 PM: The Oscars begin

- 8:15 PM: Be sure to come to the Gregory Film Lounge early to fill-out your Oscar ballot.  Winners of the Oscar predictions will be announced at the end of the night (prizes listed below)

- 9:00 PM: More snacks and drinks on offer

- 10:30 PM: Dr. Wahlert’s homemade donuts.  A Gregory favorite.  Flavors tonight: strawberry, cinnamon sugar, Oreo, and rainbow sprinkle.

- 11:00 PM (ish): Winners of the Oscars prediction announced

     1st prize: $50 Amazon gift card

     2nd prize: $30 Amazon gift card

     3rd prize: $20 Amazon gift card
