BLACK PANTHER at the Rave

What:

Perhaps the most anticipated blockbuster of the year, BLACK PANTHER, is opening soon!  Some of the College Houses joined forces and bought out a screen at the RAVE Thursday at midnight (or technically Friday morning, I guess, but you get the picture).    As always, we’ve offered out the tickets first to our Film Culture students (more on that below), but we do have some seats remaining for the House if you RSVP to me quickly (one ticket per RSVP, Gregory folks only).

Tickets are free! But if you RSVP and then don’t go (and we don’t find another Gregory taker for your ticket), you will owe us the full ticket price… so do check your schedules first.

If you catch the film (whether at this screening or on your own) and are dying to discuss it, we will be hosting a conversation on BP Sunday at 7 PM in our cinema lounge, before our scheduled 8 PM screening of GET OUT.  You are welcome to join in and gab!

Our Film Culture students, whether enrolled or no, often head out to see new releases and then discuss them over some grub.  Some of our other trips this year included LADY BIRD, THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING MISSOURI, BLADE RUNNER 2049, STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, THE FLORIDA PROJECT and THE SHAPE OF WATER.  It’s too late to enroll in the program for academic credit this semester, but all Gregorians are welcome to be on the Film Culture listserve and go on trips and such.  Please write me if you want to be added to the FCP listserve.

RSVP to me to reserve your ticket!

Chris
