Hello!

My name is Jason, and I am a junior. This will be my first year as an RA at Gregory. I can't wait to engage with the Gregory community this year!

I am majoring in biophysics in the College of Arts and Sciences, and I also plan to minor in chemistry and computational neuroscience. I hope to attend medical school after I graduate. I've taken classes in MATH, STAT, PHYS, and CHEM, and I can answer questions about some of these courses. Though my studies are primarily STEM-based, I'm also interested in economics, psychology, and sociology. I enjoy discussions over any of these topics; strike up a conversation and we can learn from each other!

When I'm not hidden in my room studying, I like to go to Penn Park and play pickup soccer or play chess at the Chess Club. I'm also a writer for the Penn Punchbowl (a satire magazine) and a member of APO (a coed service fraternity). Clubs are a great way to explore your interests and make friends. If you're interested in any of these - or need help looking for something - please reach out! I'd love to talk about the different things to do at Penn. I also volunteer at the Hospital of the Univeristy of Pennsylvania and do research with the Baumgart group. Getting involved with these opportunities has helped me learn and grow so much. I highly encourage doing research or volunteering if that's something that captures your interest, and I'm happy to talk about finding these opportunities.

In my free time, I enjoy learning the piano, solving logic puzzles, reading, getting dinner and watching TV with my friends, and listening to Coldplay. Also, I hope to hone my pool skills, eat lots of popcorn, and learn to cook this year at Gregory. I haven't watched sports as much recently, but I want to use the Gregory theater to host communal viewings where fans can come together and non-fans can come by to grab snacks and meet new people.
