A beleaguered couple (Kathryn Hahn and Paul Giamati) try to stay positive as their attempts to conceive or adopt a child continuously meet with disappointment.   Native Philadelphian Jenkins has made only three features in 20 years (following 1998’s Slums of New York and 2007’s The Savages), but they have all met with considerable acclaim.  Currently nominated for Best Director, Screenplay and Supporting Actress at the Independent Spirit Awards.  Followed by discussion.
