Dinner with Gregory-Humanities & Social Justice

What:

Dr. Jean-Michel Rabaté (Department of English) is a Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Penn. He is the founder of the Slought Foundation, which is a non-profit organization on campus that seeks to promote a public dialogue about cultural and socio-political change in Philly (check out its website, slought.org). Additionally, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a managing editor of the Journal of Modern Literature, was the president of the American Samuel Beckett Studies association, and has worked on over 35 books! In fact, he has written two books that he is in the process of editing for publication next year and is looking forward to discussing them with Gregory residents on Friday!
