Priya is a sixth year GA on the first floor of Van Pelt Manor. She has chosen the arduous road of becoming a MD/PhD, so it's quite possible that you will see her around for a while. When she is not toiling in her lab infecting tiny little cells with viruses or torturing mice, she is around town doing fun stuff, like shopping for vintage shoes, looking for interesting photo frames, and buying groceries at Trader Joe's. A self-professed chocolate purist, she does not consume anything that has chocolate or cocoa as a secondary ingredient. The same, however, does not go for coffee drinks. Hailing from the Crescent City (New Orleans, LA for those who don't know), she hopes to bring the spirit of Mardi Gras to everyone.
